Cedar Bristol Acupuncture, Cupping & Naturopathy
Acupuncture is a method used for thousands of years, noninvasive and safe if performed by a qualified practitioner. It uses our own self healing abilities without outside substances like pharmaceuticals.
Warming up the air inside the cups and putting them on skin creates a vacuum which activates local methabolism and allows immune system to work and heal. Most often cupping is used for upper respiratory diseases, muscles and joint pains, sciatica etc., but also in other illnessess.
Along with acupuncture I can advice on the naturopathy and nutrition.
Amongst the others I use Bach Flower Remedies, which works similarly to homeopathy. Flower Essences influence the emotions, deal with stress and are safe for everyone except former alcoholics because they contain alcohol.
Moxibustion is a technique where the herb „Artemisia vulgaris” is used. Moxa floss is burn on or over the acupuncture points. It has warming and energetic properties. May be used together with acupuncture or on its own.
Acupuncture can help in:
- emotional problems:
- musculo-skeletal disorders:
- back pain
- muscle pain
- digestive issues:
- Crohn’s disease
- women’s health:
- irregular periods
- and many more
What our clients say?
Lic. Ac. Dip. Nat. S.A.C. Dip. (Clinical Nutrition).
Welcome, my name is Agnieszka Kwiecien and I live in Bristol since 2010. My interest in Acupuncture started from the wish to help people using naturopathy, healthy food and energy healing. I trained as an Acupuncturist and Naturopath in the College of Naturopathic Medicine in Bristol and as a Clinical Nutritionist in the Stonebridge College.
Chinese Medicine has thousands of years of tradition and experience, it sees a person holistically, as a whole and a part of the Nature. Some of the methods used in
Chinese Medicine like herbs (local), cups and bloodletting are used traditionally in the whole Asia up to Europe.
I am particularly interested in helping people to deal with stress, anxiety, insomnia, musculoskeletal disorders and digestive issues. Naturopathic and Nutrition background plus Chinese Medicine point of view enables me tailor the diet accordingly to the person’s health condition and to use food as a medicine.
